- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3 minutes.
- In a large bowl, toss the trimmed green beans with olive oil until evenly coated.
- Add minced garlic, salt, pepper, and garlic powder (if using). Toss again to distribute the seasonings evenly.
- Place the green beans in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Avoid overcrowding - you may need to cook in batches.
- Air fry for 8-10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through cooking. The beans should be crispy with some browned spots.
- Transfer to a serving bowl and toss with Parmesan cheese and lemon juice if desired. Serve immediately while hot and crispy!
Notes
Make sure green beans are completely dry before tossing with oil. For best garlic flavor without burning, mince garlic finely and toss with beans. Cook in batches to maintain single layer and prevent steaming.
