Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
- In a large bowl, toss the trimmed green beans with olive oil until evenly coated. Add minced garlic, salt, pepper, and paprika if using. Mix well to distribute the seasonings.
- Spread the green beans in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Make sure they're not overcrowded to ensure even roasting and crispiness.
- Roast for 15-20 minutes, tossing halfway through, until the green beans are tender and slightly crispy around the edges.
- Remove from oven and immediately sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese while the beans are still hot. The residual heat will melt the cheese perfectly.
- Serve immediately as a delicious side dish to your favorite main courses.
Notes
Dry beans thoroughly before tossing with oil for maximum crispiness. Don't overcrowd the baking sheet - use two if needed. Freshly minced garlic and grated Parmesan provide superior flavor. Add red pepper flakes for heat or lemon zest for brightness.
