- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
- In a large bowl, toss the trimmed green beans with olive oil, ensuring they're evenly coated.
- Add minced garlic, salt, pepper, and paprika (if using) to the green beans. Toss again to distribute the seasonings evenly.
- Spread the green beans in a single layer on your prepared baking sheet. Avoid overcrowding to ensure even roasting and crispiness.
- Roast for 15-20 minutes, shaking the pan halfway through, until the beans are tender-crisp and starting to brown at the edges.
- Remove from oven and immediately sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Return to oven for 2-3 minutes until cheese is melted and golden.
- Drizzle with fresh lemon juice, garnish with parsley if desired, and serve immediately while hot and crispy.

Choose fresh crisp beans, don't overcrowd the pan, grate your own Parmesan for better melting, and customize with red pepper flakes or lemon zest for variety.
