- Wash and trim the green beans, removing the stem ends. Pat them dry with a paper towel to ensure they get nice and crispy when cooked.
- Heat the sesame oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
- Add the green beans to the skillet and stir-fry for 5-7 minutes, tossing frequently. You want them to be tender-crisp with some charred spots for extra flavor.
- Pour in the soy sauce and continue cooking for another minute, tossing to coat all the beans evenly.
- Remove from heat and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Serve immediately while hot and crispy.

Choose fresh, firm green beans for best crunch. Don't overcook - maintain tender-crisp texture. Toast sesame seeds for extra nutty flavor. Can be made gluten-free with tamari or coconut aminos.
